Welcome back to the final half of the summer term, we can’t believe how much new learning we have achieved and how quickly this year has gone. We are very proud of each and every Rabbit!

In our wider curriculum subjects this term we will be exploring plants and animals in Science, developing our athletics skills ready for sports day in PE and perfecting our dancing ahead of our dance festival.

In English we will be focusing on narratives and using our existing knowledge to create our own. In Mathematics we will be working on fractions, geometry, time and place value within 100 and in DT we will be learning all about and making our own windmills.

Every Thursday the children will visit the library to choose a book to read for pleasure. Reading at home is incredibly important for your child’s progress, so please continue to hear your child read. Please make sure that their reading book is in school every day. Their book will be changed on a Monday and Thursday, and we will also continue to send home weekly decodable texts.

We will be having PE every Tuesday and Wednesday so please could your child come to school dressed in their PE kit.
